About the authors
Elena Botchorichvili was born in Georgia, studied journalism and English in Tbilisi, and now lives in Montréal. She worked in the Soviet Union as a journalist, and emigrated to Canada in 1992. Her works have been translated into Czech, Danish, French, Georgian, Italian, and Norwegian. In 2016 she was awarded the Russkaya Premia literary prize for her short fiction.
