Interviews, Recommendations, and More

Your Favourite Indie Booksellers, All in One Place

Throughout October and November, we're going to highlight indie bookstore picks on the blog and link back every time to this list that you helped create.

We knew the response would be amazing, but we were absolutely blown away when we asked our community on Facebook to name the local indie bookstores they've continued to buy from through the pandemic: responses streamed in by the second, by the minute, and they're still coming in days later. THANK YOU!

Throughout October and November, we're going to highlight indie bookstore picks on social media and link back every time to this list that you helped create.

As we know, the weeks leading into the Christmas season are crucial for authors, publishers, and booksellers – we're wishing the very best year for all of them, and we can't help but take note of the ingenious shipping discounts many stores are now offering. Your loyalty is what makes the difference and we hope we can help to inspire others to buy local, buy indie!

The list we have here is not exhaustive but rather the sum of your Facebook comments. For an amazing map of Canadian indie bookstores that deliver, please see Don Gorman's incredible work.
