Amazon.ca recently asked 49th Shelf to work with them to compile a list of 100 Canadian Books to Read in a Lifetime, with the idea of arriving at a broad selection of books that would help to expose readers to a wider range of Canadian writing.

We see the resulting list as a starting point and invite everybody to add to it. Please use the built-in voting and "add to list" tools below to tell us what Canadian books belong on the 100 books list.

We'll use your feedback to publish updated editions of the list and to prepare additional recommendations as well.
