Phyllis Nakonechny spent thirty years as a high school English teacher and teacher of creative writing. Sje os a self-taught print-maker. She was awarded a CBC Literary Award for an excerpt from Vidh. She is currently retired and resides in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
