Uqi lives in Iqaluit, Nunavut. She loves watching her anaanatsiaq sew. Her anaanatsiaq can create the most beautiful things! Uqi likes to design her own creations as her anaanatsiaq sews. One day, Uqi's anaanatsiaq discovers one of Uqi's designs and plans a special surprise for her.

About the authors

Jennifer Wilman lives in Iqaluit, Nunavut, with her husband, Luke, daughter, Georgianna, sons, Inuki and Lee, and their tiny dog, Allie. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Education and has worked as a teacher, college instructor, literacy program coordinator, and early learning resource coordinator. Jennifer and her family love to snowmobile, boat, and eat pancakes. Jennifer is also the author of Yes, Let’s Play Outside!

Ali Hinch has worked as a full-time illustrator in educational children’s literature since getting her degree in illustration from Sheridan College. She’s had the opportunity to work on a variety of unique projects outside of book illustration ranging from designing puppet concepts and assisting on set building to working with musicians and artists to design CDs and promotions. Currently living in Toronto, she spends a lot of time drinking iced coffee and making new dog friends.
