Description

When money for the class trip goes missing, Morgan wonders who to tell about seeing Aldeen Hummel, the Godzilla of Grade 3, at the teacher's desk with the envelope. Morgan only wants to do the right thing, but it's hard to know if not telling all the truth would be the same as telling a lie.

Morgan and the Money (First Novels)

Morgan is itching to visit the zoo. But Aldeen can’t go because she forgot her money. Morgan suspects trouble when he sees her snooping in the teacher’s desk. Aldeen later shows up with money for the trip. When the teacher notices she is missing eight dollars of the trip money, she says the class won’t go to the zoo until the money is returned.
