About the authors

Catrina Brown, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at the School of Social Work at Dalhousie University in Halifax, cross-appointed to Women’s Studies and Nursing. She is also a feminist psychotherapist in private practice with a focus on eating “disorders”.

Karin Jasper is Clinical Mental Health Specialist and Research Co-ordinator of the Eating Disorder Program at Southlake Regional Health Centre. She is also Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Toronto. She resides in Toronto, Ontario.
