Steven Owad

Steven Owad lives in Calgary, Alberta. His creative works include short stories and poetry published in print and online reviews as well as the two-act family drama Patricide, produced at theaters in Canada and the United States. In his past life, Steven lived and worked as a journalist in Thailand and Poland, where he wrote hundreds of arts reviews as well as news, business and feature stories. His first mystery, Bodycheck, is a comedic look at greed and self-interest in professional hockey. Brother’s Keeper examines the relationship of estranged brothers against a backdrop of murder in postcommunist Poland and oil-rich northern Alberta.
