Marc Matthews
Marc Matthews is a Guyanese poet. He worked in broadcasting and drama before moving to London, where he works as an actor and solo performer. His first collection of poems, Guyana, My Altar, won the 1987 Guyana Prize for poetry. This was followed by A Season of Sometimes (Peepal Tree, 1992).
