CHRISTIANE DUCHESNE is a children\s book author and illustrator who has written widely for TV movies and radio. A native of Montreal her passion for travel both real and imagined enlivens her work. She won the Governor General\'s Award for children\'s literature in 1990 and again in 1992. `
