The Bugaboos, Cirque of the Unclimbables, the Rockies, Cap Trinité, Newfoundland. Canada is well endowed with classic climbing. Canada is also lucky enough to have skilled raconteurs who are able to wax eloquently about their adventures (and misadventures). The Canadian Alpine Journal not only documents our diverse mountain history, but also manages to capture our unique climbing culture from coast to coast to coast. The Canadian Alpine Journal promises to inform, inspire and entertain.
The Canadian Alpine Journal, published since 1907, is Canada's in-depth record of mountaineering accomplishments. The information in the Journal is current and reflective of the broadest standards of style and difficulty. The CAJ is a collection of writings and awe-inspiring photographs that individually and together celebrate the precious value and the infinite possibilities of life in the mountains.
