Trillium Nominees Share Stories of Books from Childhood

Trillium 25 Logo

On an ordinary day, novelist Kristen den Hartog's Blog of Green Gables is a treasure trove of bookish goodness, a wonderful record of family togetherness through reading. Since den Hartog was shortlisted for the 2012 Trillium Book Awards for her novel And Me Among Them, however, she's upped her blogging game, inviting her fellow Trillium nominees to share stories of important books from childhood. Already, Phil Hall (Killdeer) has contributed "a crucial unmagical gift" and Helen Guri (Match) has speculated on the bunyip. We look forward to guest posts from other nominees in the coming weeks, and love the spirit of generosity that is driving the project.
